最近,ziinlife北京郎園station店正式開啟。不同於ziinlife以往的門店,設計團隊在這裡嘗試了更加實驗性的方式。我們將北京店稱為“ziinlife吱音設計探索店”,既是ziinlife對設計的探索,也希望每一個到店的客人能探索到不同的驚喜。
Recently, ziinlife Beijing Lang Yuan station store was officially opened. Unlike ziinlife's previous stores, the design team has tried a more experimental approach here. We call the Beijing store "ziinlife design exploration store", which is not only ziinlife's exploration of design, but also hope that every customer who visits the store can explore different surprises.

ziinlife邀請了西濤設計工作室為北京店做空間設計。在郎園station的舊廠房裡,西濤重新構建了兩個正方體空間,其中包含著他們對於結構、空間和材質的深入理解以及吱音品牌性格的延伸。

通過創意和設計為生活製造驚喜,是ziinlife一直以來所堅持的。在北京設計探索店,團隊也將這個想法融入到空間的設計中。
ziinlife invited Xi Tao Design Studio to do the space design for the Beijing store. In the old factory in Lang Yuanstation, Xitao reconstructed two square spaces, which contain their in-depth understanding of structure, space and materials as well as the extension of the character of the ziin brand.

Creating surprises for life through creativity and design is what ziinlife has always insisted on. In the Beijing Design Discovery Store, the team also incorporated this idea into the design of the space.


北京店原本不大的空間被再次劃分成更多小場景,花園、露台、拐角,每一個角落都是不同的風景。來到這裡,彷彿進入了一個新的世界。人群進來後同樣被分散,進入相對獨立的小空間,可以更安靜、近距離地觀看吱音的產品,與有趣的家具們進行互動。
The original small space of Beijing store is divided into more small scenes, garden, terrace, corner, each corner is a different landscape. When you come here, it's like entering a new world. Crowds are dispersed when they enter the store, and they enter small, independent spaces where they can see Zee's products more quietly and at a closer distance, and interact with the interesting furniture.


不同於常規家具店里以銷售為導向的模式,在ziinlife北京店,你可以自由穿梭於層次豐富的空間中,去發現不一樣的驚喜——可能是吱音家具的創意,也可能是空間和結構帶來的奇妙體驗。
Unlike the sales-oriented model of conventional furniture stores, in ziinlife Beijing store, you can freely travel through the richly layered space to discover different surprises - it may be the creativity of ziin furniture, or the wonderful experience brought by space and structure.

北京店是一次實驗性的品牌表達,從最初就拋開了常規商業門店的考慮,希望這個空間不只是家具店,也能呈現吱音對設計的理解。來到這裡,大家能夠真實地感受到空間的設計和ziinlife產品的設計,不僅僅是為了買家具或喝咖啡而來。
Beijing store is an experimental brand expression, from the beginning to leave aside the consideration of conventional commercial stores, hoping that this space is not only a furniture store, but also to present Ziyin's understanding of design. When you come here, you can really feel the design of the space and the design of ziinlife products, not just for buying furniture or drinking coffee.

 
 
 



以構件關係為靈感丨在空間尺度中關注設計細節
Inspired by the relationship between the components, the design details in the spatial scale
西濤設計工作室的兩位主創劉濤和蔡春燕是ziinlife的老朋友了,對吱音的品牌基因和設計理念也十分了解。在他們看來,吱音的產品包含了許多細節,構件之間的組合有著清晰的脈絡,同時又帶來細膩有趣的體驗。
Liu Tao and Cai Chunyan, the two creators of Xitao Design Studio, are old friends of ziinlife and know the brand genes and design philosophy of ZeeYin very well. In their opinion, ZeeYin's products contain many details, and the combination of components has a clear context, while bringing a delicate and interesting experience.


 
ziinlife北京店位於一棟紅磚老廠房裡,面積不大但有很高的層高,可利用的空間接近於正方體。在這樣一個方方正正的大空間裡,有什麼可以讓人們自由探索的方式?要如何讓人們關注ziinlife產品的細節呢?ziinlife決定在大空間裡構建更小的空間尺度。

看到ziinlife北京店所在的場地時,西濤就有了搭建一些幾何體、夾層的想法,不僅可以展示更多的場景和家具,同時不會讓整個空間產生割裂感。 另一方面,ziinlife的產品有很多細節值得讓人更靠近地觀看,西濤希望通過對空間尺度的把控拉進產品與人的距離,更沉浸地體驗家具本身的構造和設計。
When I saw the location of the ziinlife Beijing store, Xitao had the idea of building some geometric bodies and mezzanines, which would not only display more scenes and furniture, but also not make the whole space feel fragmented.

On the other hand, ziinlife's products have many details that deserve to be viewed more closely, and Xitao hopes to bring the products closer to people through the control of spatial scale, and to experience the construction and design of the furniture itself more immersively. "We want to separate the space smaller and have more twists and turns to attract people to explore." “我們想要把空間分隔得更小,有更多的轉折吸引人去探索。”


多次嘗試後,最終確定下來的方案是兩個呈45度角交錯的雙層正方體,在舊廠房的大空間裡再次形成內外關係的劃分,有像花園、庭院的“戶外區域”,再往裡是更親密和舒適的“小房間”,上層也有半封閉的“露台”將室內外連接起來。
After many attempts, the final solution is two double-story squares intersecting at a 45-degree angle, again forming a division of internal and external relations within the large space of the old factory, with "outdoor areas" like gardens and courtyards, and "small rooms" for more intimacy and comfort, and semi-enclosed "terraces" on the upper floors to connect the interior and exterior.


西濤為兩個嵌套的正方體選擇了不同的材料,位置靠前、採光充足的方塊採用半透明的陽光波形板,後部的方塊則選用了比較實的木頭。兩個方塊之間形成光線的過渡,參觀者慢慢從開放的區域進入更私密的空間。
Xi Tao chose different materials for the two nested squares, using translucent sunlight wave panels for the front, light-filled square and more solid wood for the rear square. The transition of light between the two squares allows visitors to move slowly from the open area into a more intimate space.

 
就像在方盒子裡重新構建了一個平行宇宙,這個時空裡網羅了所有生活中可能遇到的場景,營造了真實的體驗。
It is like reconstructing a parallel universe in a square box, a time and space where all possible scenes in life are captured to create a real experience.

Q:你們對ziinlife吱音有什麼印象?

A:在一個人人講創意的時代裡,ziinlife是一個真正嚴肅地對待創意的家具品牌。要把一個想法落地變成產品,又能在製造端找到一定的平衡,並最終實現銷售,我覺得是很艱難的過程。ziinlife的產品既融入日常生活,同時也有一些稍微脫離的趣味性,我想這也是品牌能夠與當下的消費群體發生直接聯繫的原因。
Q:ziinlife北京店的設計和施工有什麼難點?

A:這個項目是老廠房的改造,在建築領域我們叫它“既存建築再更新”。這就需要考慮Ziinlife怎麼去合理利用原來廠房的空間。這個空間是有自己的性格的,無論品牌的性格怎麼樣、設計師的性格怎麼樣,最終都要裝到既有的空間裡。

我們在設計中期也討論了非常多,包括原來的牆體是否要保留、怎麼保留?哪些結構要改造?如果重新在外立面加磚塊,它們跟原來的舊磚關係是什麼樣?其實還蠻複雜的。但我們又不希望盲目地“懷舊”,留下來的部分並不是要呈現懷舊的狀態,而是這個廠房既存的狀態就是這樣,我們要去思考如何平衡新與舊的關係。我們想讓置入的網格房子體係是輕盈的。木板離開地面露出內部骨架的設計,像一個家具一樣,有支撐有表面自成一體。接近底部的脫離和木板面上的開口,都讓空間裡的視線與光線既有各自的領域又是連續的。
Q:在北京店裡,空間和家具的關係是什麼樣的?

A:我們在正方體的尺寸時就考慮了產品的基本陳列,從產品一般的擺放組合形成的空間大小來推導出3·5米的網格。有點像通用空間,可以自由地組織場景。看起來是很常規的功能分區,但其實又相互交織疊加,反而模糊了傳統的功能劃分。我們覺得吱音是一個依然在不斷發展變化的品牌,所以我們的設想是希望空間能有更好的包容性和開放性,沒有去界定特定區域。

在這個項目中,我們想做的是貼切適合、去等級化的設計。ziinlife一直主張“尋找具有共同特質人群的最大公約數”,所以我們在空間的設計上也是溫和的、不渲染不可及的奢侈感。我們平等地去看待材料,大部分都是常見的批量化生產的型材和建材跟幾塊精緻的石材並置,都有各自的質感和美。平等地看待結構構造和完成面,不加掩飾地構造痕跡,暴露出來就是完成面。

Q:希望ziinlife北京店給客人帶來什麼體驗?

A:我們一直在思考這個空間能有什麼方式可以讓人去探索,並且具有趣味性的體驗。所以我們會利用空間的分割和材料的使用來營造不同的氛圍,我們做了屋中屋的設計,讓空間切分成更小的單元組合,每個單元之間都是互相連通的,隔斷上的開口精確地控制視線關係。客人進來之後會看到很多相互穿透的場景,感受上是層層疊疊的,在每個單元里都能感知到完整的大空間關係,會想繼續往前,去看看裡面有什麼。有一種空間誘導的意識在裡面,激發人們的探索欲。
Q: What are your impressions of ziinlife?

A: In an era where everyone talks about creativity, ziinlife is a furniture brand that really takes creativity seriously. I think it is a very difficult process to turn an idea into a product, find a certain balance at the manufacturing end, and finally realize sales. ziinlife's products are not only integrated into daily life, but also have a slightly detached fun nature, which I think is the reason why the brand can have a direct connection with the current consumer group.
Q: What were the difficulties in the design and construction of the ziinlife Beijing store?

A: This project is a renovation of an old factory, which we call "renewal of existing buildings" in the architectural field. This requires consideration of how Ziinlife can make reasonable use of the original factory space. This space has its own character, no matter what the character of the brand or the character of the designer is, it has to be installed into the existing space in the end.

We discussed a lot in the middle of the design process, including whether and how to keep the original walls. Which structure should be modified? If we add bricks to the façade, how will they relate to the original bricks? In fact, it is quite complicated. But we don't want to be blindly "nostalgic". The part that remains is not to present a nostalgic state, but this is the existing state of the building, and we have to think about how to balance the new and the old. We wanted to make the grid house a lighter structure. The planks leave the ground to reveal the internal skeleton, like a piece of furniture, with support and a self-contained surface. The detachment near the bottom and the openings on the surface of the wood panels allow the space to be continuous with its own field of vision and light.
Q: In the Beijing store, what is the relationship between the space and the furniture?

A: We considered the basic display of the products in the square size, and derived a grid of 3-5 meters from the size of the space formed by the general combination of products. It is a bit like a universal space, which can freely organize the scene. It seems to be a regular functional partition, but in fact it is intertwined and overlapped, which blurs the traditional functional division. We feel that Zee is a brand that is still evolving and changing, so our design is to make the space more inclusive and open, without defining specific areas.

In this project, we wanted to make a design that was relevant and de-hierarchical. ziinlife has always advocated "finding the largest common denominator of people with common characteristics", so we designed the space in a moderate way, without rendering it inaccessible and luxurious. We look at materials equally, most of them are common mass-produced profiles and building materials juxtaposed with a few pieces of exquisite stone, all of which have their own texture and beauty. We look at the structural construction and the finished surface equally, and construct the traces without disguise, exposing them as the finished surface.

Q: What kind of experience do you want ziinlife Beijing to bring to the guests?

A: We have been thinking about how this space can be explored in a way that is interesting to experience. Therefore, we will use the division of space and the use of materials to create different atmospheres. We have made a house-within-a-house design, so that the space is divided into smaller unit combinations, and each unit is connected to each other. Guests will see a lot of interpenetrating scenes after coming in, and the feeling is layered, and in each unit they can perceive a complete spatial relationship, and will want to move on to see what is inside. There is a sense of spatial induction in the space, which stimulates people's desire to explore.
